EV charger enquiries: the lowest urgency, near the highest value
Tesla is in the keyword list because that is what people call it. The job least likely to be urgent and most likely to be worth booking without a person.

The short answer
An EV charger enquiry is the lowest urgency in this trade's configuration and often the largest invoice, which is why it is the safest job to let an assistant book without a person. It is matched on five phrases including Tesla and wallbox, because those are the words customers use rather than the words electricians use. Nobody needs one within the hour, so there is no triage to get wrong, and the caller usually goes with whoever gives them a date first.
The words that name this job
The real list, read from the configuration that matches on it. One of these is a brand name, deliberately.
- Urgency by default
- low
- Reply target
- 120 minutes
- Somebody goes out
- Yes
What this call is actually like
- Tesla is in the list, alongside wallbox, charging point and car charger. It is a brand rather than a category, and it is there because that is the word people use. A classifier built from trade vocabulary rather than customer vocabulary would miss the most common way this enquiry is phrased.
- This is the lowest urgency in the electrical pack and frequently the largest invoice in it. Urgency and value are not the same axis, and treating them as one is how a business ends up rushing to a tripping breaker while an installation enquiry goes to whoever answered first.
- Nobody needs an EV charger within the hour. That is precisely what makes it the safest job to let an assistant book by itself: there is no triage to get wrong, and the caller wants a date in the diary rather than a conversation.
- The reminder for this trade asks for access to the panel, which is the thing that decides whether the visit can go ahead. An installer who arrives to a consumer unit behind a fitted wardrobe has lost the morning.
What happens, in order
- Somebody rings about an EV charger while the crew is on a job. Nobody picks up.
- If the assistant is on it answers, says it is an assistant, and asks what they need.
- Where this job is marked bookable, it offers times that are genuinely free and books one for the length the job is set to take, which for an installation is not the default hour.
- The booking lands on the lead and in the calendar feed the business subscribes to.
- A reminder goes out before the visit asking for access to the panel.

missed call textback
This is Halden Electric, sorry we missed your call. What is going on, and where are you? Reply here, or BOOK to book.
BOOK in the first message is worth more on this job than on any other in the pack, because the caller is shopping and the first company with a date usually gets the work.
appointment reminder
Halden Electric is booked for Tuesday at 9:00 AM. Please clear access to the panel. Reply if anything changed.
The access line is what makes the visit possible. It invites a reply rather than a call, because somebody at work cannot ring back but can answer a text.
Questions
- Why is a brand name in the keyword list?
- Because customers say it. People ring asking about a Tesla charger far more often than they ask about an electric vehicle supply equipment installation, and a classifier that only knew the technical term would miss them.
- Should an assistant book installation work by itself?
- It is the best candidate in this trade. There is nothing to triage, the caller wants a date, and the slot is held for as long as you said the job takes rather than a default hour.
- Is a low urgency job worth answering out of hours?
- This one is, because it is the highest value work in the pack and the enquiry is competitive. Low urgency means nobody is in danger, not that nobody else is being rung.
- What if the quote depends on a survey?
- Then mark it unbookable and let the assistant take the details instead. Every job is off by default, and the ones that need a conversation should stay that way.
Every price is on the site
No quote and no sales call to find out what it costs. Creating the account and setting it up charges nothing: setup is billed when you submit your carrier registration, and the monthly charge starts when your number is live.
