The call you miss is the job somebody else does.

An AI voice agent picks up the calls you cannot, asks what the job is, and puts it in your calendar. A few repairs a month pay for it. One install pays for months.

Everything is in the monthly price. Setup is the only extra and it is charged once — no per-user fees, no surprise line items.

No contract. No minimum term, no cancellation fee, cancel any time. Pay yearly and the year is paid — cancel stops the renewal, not the year.

What picks up

Or call +1-419-239-0512 and the voice agent answers our own line.

Hear what your caller hears

An example call, 49 seconds. The agent’s voice is the real one.

  1. AgentThanks for calling Buckeye Comfort Heating and Cooling. I'm an AI assistant and I take notes on what we discuss. Nobody's free right now, but I can take what you need and get somebody to call you back. Who am I speaking with?
  2. CallerYeah, hi. My furnace quit on me. There's no heat at all.
  3. AgentSorry to hear that. Can I get your name?
  4. CallerDale Whitcomb.
  5. AgentThanks Dale. What's the best number to reach you at?
  6. CallerFour one nine, five five five, oh one four two.
  7. AgentGot it. And where are you located?
  8. CallerHuron, just off Cleveland Road.
  9. AgentI have tomorrow at eight, or eleven thirty. Which works better?
  10. CallerEight works.
  11. AgentYou're booked. So that's Dale Whitcomb, four one nine, five five five, oh one four two, no heat, tomorrow at eight. We'll see you then.

It answers when you cannot

Off until you switch it on, then per number: let it take everything, or let your phone ring first and have it catch only what you miss. Anyone it does not reach gets your text within a minute.

It books into your calendar

Only the jobs you mark bookable, for the length you say each one takes. It checks what is already booked and what is in your own calendar first, so it cannot offer an hour you are not free.

It flags an emergency

What the caller says they need is matched against the words your trade treats as urgent — no heat, a gas smell, water spreading — and the lead is raised and marked for attention.

It says it is an AI in the first sentence, and it takes notes rather than recording the call — no audio is kept, ever. It cannot quote a price, promise a time nobody is holding, or tell anyone a gas situation is safe. Every call is capped at five minutes.

Creating your account costs nothing. Setup is billed when you submit your carrier registration, and the monthly only starts once your number is live.

Setup — $499 once

You give us your business details once — the legal name, the EIN, what you text people about. We do the rest: filing with the mobile carriers so your texts actually get delivered, arguing it through if they come back with questions, connecting your number, writing your message wording and linking your calendar. Charged once, when you submit your registration. Your monthly plan does not start until that registration is approved and your number is live.

Extra line — $99 a month

A line is a number customers reach you on: a location’s own number, or a tracking number for an advertising source. Your plan includes several. Beyond that each line is $99 a month, and locations themselves are free — you pay for numbers, not for shops.

Extra texts — 8¢ each

Nothing stops working if you go over. No message is ever held back because of an allowance — you are told when you pass it and it appears on the next invoice.

A text is up to 160 characters. A longer one is split and counts as more than one — the section below explains exactly how.

Extra voice agent minutes — 25¢ each

Only time the voice agent spent talking to somebody counts. Calls are timed to the second and added up across the month, and only the total is rounded up. A call it never took costs nothing, and it stays off entirely until you switch it on.

Your plan includes 150, 400 or 750 minutes a month. Beyond that it is 25¢ a minute on the next invoice — nothing stops working and no call is refused because of an allowance.

How a text is counted

Mobile carriers do not bill by the message. They bill by the segment — a fixed block of characters — and every texting service in the world is metered this way, ours included. It is worth two minutes because it is the only thing that makes an allowance behave differently from how it reads.

What you writeCounts asWhy
Up to 160 characters1 textThe standard block. Nearly every message we send fits.
161 characters or more2 or moreIt is split and reassembled on the handset. Each part carries a small header, so the parts hold 153 characters rather than 160 — which is why a very long message can count as three or four, not just two.
Anything with an emoji1 text, but only 70 charactersOne emoji — or a curly quote pasted out of Word — switches the whole message to a different alphabet, and the block shrinks. This is the one that surprises people.

You are never guessing

The editor counts as you type and shows what a message will cost before you save it — with your business name and booking link filled in, not the template. Write past the limit and it tells you then, not on the invoice.

And you can put a ceiling on it

Set a monthly spending limit and we stop at it. Nothing is ever held back because of your allowance — but nothing runs away with your bill either.

The wording we set up for you fits in one. Every message we write — the reply to a missed call, the booking confirmation, the reminder — is built to land inside a single text with the opt-out line included. Keep our defaults and one message is one text, so none of the above ever costs you anything. It only starts to matter if you rewrite a template much longer, and the editor tells you at the moment you do.

Does it pay for itself?

$300–500

What a typical HVAC or plumbing repair bills.

2–4 repairs

Won back in a month covers the whole plan.

1 install

A replacement or a roof covers it for months, which is where this pays best.

We will tell you your own number before you buy anything — see the free missed-call audit.

What it costs to find out

Most of this category sells on an annual contract, so trying it means committing to a year. Here is the whole risk of trying us.

CallerOps

$1498

The one-time $499 setup plus your first month on Recover. Cancel any time after that — no minimum term, no cancellation fee.

A twelve-month contract

12 months

The usual terms in this market. If it is not working in month three, you generally pay the balance anyway — money you have not handed over yet and still owe. Our yearly option is the opposite trade: nothing is owed, and two months come free for paying up front.

  • No contract, no minimum term, no cancellation fee. Paying yearly is a discount for paying ahead, not a term — the year is not refunded, and monthly is always available.
  • No per-user fees — the price is the price.
  • Prices published here, not quoted on a sales call.
  • Your leads and message history exported on request, free.

Pricing questions

How much does CallerOps cost?
CallerOps costs $999 a month for a single location and one phone number, $1,750 a month for 5 numbers with attribution reporting across your advertising, and $2,499 a month for 10 numbers. Beyond what your plan includes a number is $99 a month. Paying yearly costs $9,990, $17,500 or $24,990 — ten months for twelve. Setup is a one-time $499. There is no contract and no minimum term.
Is there a contract?
No. There is no annual contract, no minimum term and no cancellation fee. You can cancel at any time and the service runs to the end of the month you have paid for. Your leads, contacts and message history are exported to you on request at no charge.
What is the setup fee for?
The one-time $499 covers work we do for you rather than software: registering your business with the mobile carriers so your texts are delivered, connecting your existing business number, writing your message wording, setting your business hours, and linking your calendar. It is charged once, when you submit your carrier registration, and it covers that registration through to approval including any resubmissions.
What is a line, and what does an extra one cost?
A line is a phone number customers reach you on — a location's own number, or a tracking number for one advertising source. Recover includes 1: your own. Convert includes 5 and Scale includes 10, to split between your locations and the places you advertise however you like. Beyond that a number is $99 a month. Locations themselves are free: open as many as you like and pay only for the numbers they use.
What is the AI voice agent, and does it have to answer?
It answers the phone in your business's name when you cannot, asks what the job is, takes a name and a callback number, and books the work into your calendar if you let it. It is off until you switch it on, and the choice is per number: nobody answers and we text instead, your phone rings first and it catches only what you miss, or it takes every call on that number. Most companies use the middle one. Every plan includes minutes, and a call it did not take is never charged.
Will callers know it is not a person?
Yes, because it tells them. It opens every call by saying it is an AI and that it takes notes on what is discussed. No audio is recorded at any point — the conversation is written down instead, and that written record is yours. It also cannot quote a price, promise a time nobody is holding, or tell somebody a gas situation is safe.
What happens if I go over my voice agent minutes?
Additional minutes are 25 cents each, billed on the next invoice. Recover includes 150 minutes a month, Convert includes 400 and Scale includes 750. Only talking time counts: calls are timed to the second and added up across the month, and only the total is rounded up to a minute. A call it never took costs nothing, and you can set a ceiling on extra minutes so the bill cannot run away.
What happens if I go over my text allowance?
Additional texts are billed at 8 cents each. Nothing stops working and no message is held back because of an allowance — you are told at the point you exceed it and it appears on the next invoice.
What counts as one text?
Up to 160 characters. Phone networks send longer messages in two parts and bill for both, so a longer text counts as more than one against your allowance. Everything we write for you fits in one, and if you rewrite a template your own screen tells you what it will cost before you save it.
Is CallerOps cheaper than Podium?
No. CallerOps is $999 a month against Podium's $399, and it is not trying to be the cheaper one. Theirs is self-serve software you configure; ours is set up for you — we file the carrier registration, write the missed-call templates, and check the number rings a phone that actually reaches you before it goes live. Both of us price additional phone lines separately, so compare the lines you actually need rather than the headline. One difference is worth knowing either way: Podium requires an annual contract and bills the remaining balance if you leave early. CallerOps has no contract and no cancellation fee, and paying monthly means you can stop whenever.
How many jobs do I need to recover to break even?
Two or three if your work is repairs. A typical HVAC or plumbing repair bills $300 to $500, so it takes a few of them to cover $999 a month. If your work is installs, replacements or roofs, one recovered job covers several months and the rest of the year is what you were losing without seeing it. That is the honest cut: this pays for itself fastest where a single job is worth thousands.
